About this Event

FREE WORKSHOP FROM WAYFINDERWOMAN TRUST

We know that when we’re in pain our confidence and self-belief drops. We find it more difficult to cope with simple tasks and obstacles that we would have brushed aside become insurmountable.

We know that if you have a positive attitude toward dealing with pain during injury you will recover more easily.

We know that even though the body has fully recovered for some you can still remain in pain. It is your feelings and how you interpret any existing or memories of pain that determines your response.

This interactive workshop is to help you understand pain:

  • How our body and brain process pain.
  • How our emotions and thinking affect pain.
  • How key health behaviours and pain affect each other.
  • Practical things you can do to reduce and manage pain.
  • Improve your ability to maintain a healthy mindset
  • Maintain your confidence and self-belief

Run by a woman and open to women only, this workshop is run by the esteemed Dr Caroline Marlow PhD, AFBPsS , a Performance and Wellbeing Psychologist. Helping organisations and individuals to thrive with evidence based research, mentoring & education. Director of L&M Consulting Ltd

You will be sent a link to join the meeting via email, to ensure you receive the email invitation register here
