Marching for Ukraine
One of our Trustees is asking people to join her in Eastbourne to show their support for Ukraine.
On this, International Women’s Day, we want to highlight those women who are dispossesed by war and conflict. We were horrified when Taliban took control of Afghanistan and women lost their freedom and independence. Like everyone else we have been appalled at the scenes coming from Ukraine. To show our support for the women of Ukraine, one of our Trustees Sophie Mohns along with her friend Louise Baxter are encouraging people to join them by Eastbourne Pier at 6.00 pm this Thursday 10th March. They will walk to the Wish Tower where they will have a minute silence to honour all those who are suffering.
Please join us if you can and bring your torches. A collection will also be held and any monies raised will go to the DEC.
