DESCRIPTION:  \nThis is a wonderful opportunity for women to come together and discover how music and song can energise and embrace our lives and histories. \nAcclaimed duo Milton Hide (Jo Church and Jim Tipler) have performed all over the UK\, using local stories as inspiration for new songs. \nNow it’s your turn to spend time with them and see how your story can be expressed in music. It might be a character you’ve met\, a local story about your neighbourhood\, a folk tale about your area or a recollection from your childhood. Whatever it is they want to hear from you. \nThis event\, hosted by Wayfinder Woman\, is part of a National Lottery Community Funded project\, so entry is free. \nThe Grove Theatre bar and café will be open from 5:30\, so you can relax with a glass or wine of cup of coffee before the event starts. \nBe part of this initiative by sharing your stories and enjoy hearing Milton Hide bringing themes together and performing live.All stories shared are freely available for use as inspirations for future creative works. \nPlease note that this is a women’s only event. \nSee www.yourstoriesinsong.co.uk for more information.
