DESCRIPTION:Every 8 March women around the globe celebrate International Women’s Day.  It’s an opportunity to come together and to celebrate women’s achievements.  This year we’ve teamed up with East Sussex Library Service to highlight ordinary women\, to share their insights and experiences through what was\, for some transformational\, for others burdensome\,  period – the pandemic. \nOur Women in Lockdown book\, stories by and about women during covid-19 is now available at all East Sussex libraries and for reading groups.  On 8 March we will be at the central library in Eastbourne to talk\, to share those stories\, to maybe find some new ones and to celebrate women’s lives.  Join us and find out for yourselves what women thought about this life-changing period. \nYou can reserve a library copy to read or purchase your own on the day.
