DESCRIPTION:Join us on our second charity walk between Eastbourne and Hastings Piers to raise funds to keep our volunteer run\, female run drop-in centre open. \nOpen to all\, including children\, you can walk\, run or cycle the route and join at any point.  Why not make it a real family occasion!  Or encourage your work colleagues to make up a team! \nIf you’re walking or running we stay on the promenade and then walk along the shoreline at low tide to avoid the pebbles before joining the promenade again.\nFrom the Cadence Clubhouse (map) we gather at 7.00am and start walking at 7.30am to catch the low tide where it’s needed. \nWe ask you to register using this link.  We also ask that do your very best to raise at least £25 in sponsorship as every pound raised directly goes towards supporting the women who come to us for help\, advice and support.  Amanda is one of the reasons why we do this – watch her story here. \nOnce you register we will send you all of the information needed with route maps\, other areas where you can join\, and timings\, the all important toilet stops and snack shacks.  We can supply you with ideas about how to raise sponsorship too. \n\n\n\n\nImportant information about the Pier 2 Peer event\n\n\nASLEF has announced that there will be a rail strike on 1st October\, this means that those taking part will not be able to use the rail service to return to Eastbourne.\nHowever there is a good bus service that covers all points of the walk and information can be found on the Stagecoach App (Apple/Android) or visit Stagecoach website where you can plan your journey and get the bus number and the available departure time from the place you wish to travel from. You can also download bus timetables from their website.\n\n\n\nEveryone who participates will receive an environmentally-friendly medal. \nWe’ll give you all of the information about this once you register. \nWe had SO much fun last year and would love to see you in 2022.  If you have any questions please email us.
